IVA+ Channel Licenses

The DWC-PVX20WATW multi-sensor panoramic camera uses four (4) individual camera lens sensor modules that can be arranged along a circular, magnetic track to produce a 360° or 180° view. Each sensor module lens produces individual video streams which are then combined to create a single, panoramic image for viewing video from DW Spectrum IPVMS.

While the camera comes with the IVA+ analytic licenses come pre-uploaded with the camera, each license must be assigned to the video source of each lens module.

This article will outline how to assign the IVA+ analytic channel licenses for the DWC-PVX20WATW.

Supported/Affected Devices:

  • DW MEGApix Pano Multi-Sensor Camera
    • DWC-PVX20WATW

Assigning Channel Licenses

To assign the licenses:

  1. Connect to the camera’s Web Viewer with a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) or using the DW Spectrum Web Page feature, then log in as the camera’s administrator.

Click the Setup button to open the camera’s configuration settings.

  1. Once in the Setup menus, click on the IVA tab and select “License”.

In the License menu, the VIN Source (Video1, Video2, etc.) will determine which lens is being configured.

Select “Video1” as the VIN Source.

  1. Next, select the Basic 4ch license that is listed in the Activated License(s) list and click the Assign button to assign it to the selected VIN Source.

Repeat this process for the remaining VIN Sources – “Video2”, “Video3”, and “Video4” – while continuing to select and assign the Basic 4ch license to each camera module.

Once all four camera lens modules have been assigned a Basic 4ch license, the Activated License(s) list will show that four (4) have been assigned in the “Used” column.

  1. With each lens module having an IVA+ analytic license assigned, full IVA+ analytics options will be enabled for the entire camera.
