Hardware ID (HWID)

Each Server has a unique Hardware ID that is determined by the computer’s, Motherboard, CPU, RAM, and Network Interface Card (NIC).  In the case of Windows, the OS is also relevant.  This identifier is created at the time of installation of the DW Spectrum Server software to the computer.  This information is used to maintain license registry for Servers and is necessary for continued use of the registered licenses.

This article will outline where to locate the Hardware ID (HWID) of a DW Spectrum Server, using the DW Spectrum Client application.
