Junction Box Compatibility
Among Digital Watchdog’s variety of camera mounting accessories, the addition of a junction box can help to ensure that the camera’s cabling connections are covered and protected from external elements such as rain, local fauna, vandals, etc. When compiling an installation plan for a security surveillance network setup, it is important to check that you have the correct, compatible hardware for mounting and installation.
This article will list the compatible camera models that are recommended for use with the DWC VFZJUNC, DWC-VFJUNCW, and DWC-VAJUNC junction box accessories.

Junction Box Descriptions
DWC-VFZJUNC (off-white/tan finish)
The DWC-VFZJUNC junction box accessory can be used with most MEGApix flat dome or vandal ball cameras. This junction box model is considered to be universal and can be used with the same models as the DWC-VFJUNCW junction box as well.
The DWC-VFZJUNC has two (2) sets of pilot holes for mounting screws. When installing a camera with the DWC-VFZJUNC junction box, the installer can utilize one of the two pairs of pilot holes to accommodate both the wide diameter of larger dome cameras as well as the smaller diameter of vandal ball cameras as needed.
**NOTE: The difference in coloration of the finishes between the DWC-VFZJUNC, DWC-VFJUNCW, and compatible cameras should be considered by the installer if the camera installation hardware is to have a single uniform color (white/off-white).
DWC-VFJUNCW (white finish)
The DWC-VFJUNCW junction box accessory can be used with most MEGApix flat dome or vandal ball cameras. This junction box model is considered to be universal and can be used with the same models as the DWC-VFZJUNC junction box as well.

DWC-VAJUNC
The older generation of DWC-VAJUNC junction box previously featured only a single (1) pair of pilot holes. The newer generation of DWC-VAJUNC junction box now features two (2) pairs of pilot holes.
Both generations of the DWC-VAJUNC junction box accessory are compatible with only MEGApix DWC-MVAxxxx IP cameras, DWC-MPVAxxxx IP cameras, and DWC-VAxxxx UHDoC analog cameras.
