Non-Responsive Cameras

On occasion, users might encounter a non-responsive camera; meaning that the camera does not appear to power on or stream video.  These issues can be caused by:

  • Out-of-date Firmware
  • Power-related Issues
  • Network Communication Issues
  • Hardware Failure

 

Supported/Affected Devices

  • DW MEGApix Camera Series

 

Troubleshooting

Use the following flowchart to troubleshoot issues for a non-responsive IP camera.

If you make a mistake, click on the back arrow (to the left of the flowchart) to go back to your previous option in the flowchart.
