New Firmware Notes

Improvements

  • Removed the Network > ONVIF account page and merged IPC password and ONVIF account for streamlined user management.
    • After firmware upgrade, it is recommended to change the IPC password on the camera webpage to sync with the ONVIF account.
    • If using the default password, after the firmware upgrade, the camera will continue to function normally in DW Spectrum. At the camera webpage, users will be asked to change the password. Check the box to sync the ONVIF account.

Bug Fixes

  • Addressed abnormal behavior related to the ONVIF account causing “Unauthorized Access” message in DW Spectrum.
  • Fixed bug when changing the default password failed to save.

Additional Comments / Instructions

  • This firmware version and previous versions do not support the IP Finder Bulk Password Assignment function.
  • If IP Finder is used to change the password, only the IPC password will change. The ONVIF account will continue using the previous or default password.
  • When logging in with the default credentials after upgrading the firmware, and you are asked to change the admin password and the Modify ONVIF user option is not displayed, it is recommended to clear the browser cache for optimal performance. Exit and reopen the browser before continuing.
