Video Walls can be managed from the Video Wall Controller through the DW Spectrum Client software, however the Video Wall Mode can only be activated through a Video Wall Processor – a computer with DW Spectrum Client that can be used to manage the Video Wall.

To start the Video Wall Controller:

  1. In the DW Spectrum Client, right-click on “Video Wall” in the Resource Panel and select “Open Video Wall”.

  1. A Video Wall tab will open and Video Wall Servers and attached Video Wall Displays of the all associated Video Wall Cluster will show.

You can directly drag-and-drop a Layout or an individual device from the Resource Panel to an attached Video Wall Display.

  1. For finer control over the display management, double-click on a Video Wall or right-click and select “Control Video Wall”.

A tab will open in the DW Spectrum Client representing the Video Wall. Add cameras and devices to this layout from the Resource Panel.

The Video Wall layout handles similar to the standard DW Spectrum layout. All changes made to the Video Wall layout will appear on the assigned display monitor in real-time. The Video Wall Controller can be used to:

  • Add camera/device to Video Wall layout from Resource Panel
  • Remove camera/device from Video Wall layout
  • Rearrange video stream channels in the layout
  • Resize video stream channel windows
  • Search previously recorded video in the DW Spectrum Server Archive
  • Push the computer screen of a Video Wall Processor

When finished, right-click in the layout and select “Save Layout” to save all changes made to the Video Wall layout.
