PDK Integration Tool
ProdataKey’s (PDK) DW NVR Integration Tool works in conjunction with DW Spectrum IPVMS to provide users with the ability to create tailored networked video surveillance projects to create a seamlessly integrated experience including monitoring door activity, video pop-up, bookmarking, lock/unlock/lockdown doors, and more from one synchronized platform.
Through Generic Events created in DW Spectrum IPVMS, when an event is generated in pdk.io it will also create a corresponding Generic Event in DW Spectrum IPVMS. As a result, specific actions can then be triggered in pkd.io from the DW Spectrum interface.

IMPORTANT: For ease of use, it is recommended that the NVR Integration Tool be installed on the same computer system on which DW Spectrum Server (Windows) software has been installed.
Installing the DW NVR Integration Tool
- After downloading the NVR Integration Tool, open the file and begin installation.
If you get a Windows protected your PC warning screen, click the “More info” link and click “Run anyway”.
- The NVR Integration Tool Setup screen is displayed.
Click “Next” to continue.
- The Destination Folder screen is displayed. This indicates the default location where the NVR Integration Tool will be installed.
Click “Next” to accept the default location folder or click “Change…” to specify another folder location.
- In the Settings menu, configure the following:
- Command Listen Port: set to 9191. This is the tool’s default port and is required in most cases.
- Panel ID: This is the Cloud Node’s serial number, labeled on the inside door of the device or it can also be found on the pdk.io website. This serial number looks like,1070XXX (where XXX is a unique three-character alphanumeric designation).
- Username: Enter the DW Spectrum System local user ID (default is admin).
- Password: Enter the DW Spectrum System local user password.
- URI: Like a URL, this identifies a particular resource. In this case, it identifies the location or “web address” of the DW Spectrum software. You can leave it as at its default setting.
When complete, click the “Next” button.
- Click Install in the Ready to install NVR Integration Tool screen.
The resulting Installing NVR Integration Tool screen will indicate the Status of the installation progress and state.
ProDataKey Login
After installing the ProdataKey NVR Integration tool:
- Log in with your ProdataKey Email address and Password.
Click “SIGN IN”.
- Upon successful login, utilize two-factor authentication by clicking the “your phone” link at the bottom of the page.
- A six-digit code will be sent to the phone number associated with the logged-in user.
Upon receipt of the authentication code sent to the user’s smartphone, enter that six-digit code in the Authentication code field. Click VERIFY.
- The Setup Wizard screen will indicate when the installation is completed. Click Finish.
DW Spectrum will then connect and integrate with the ProdataKey application, providing video access to the installed security cameras.
