Logging Level

You may be asked to elevate or modify the Main Logging Level of the Server by a support engineer as they assist you with an issue.  This setting affects the amount of diagnostic information collected by the system as the DW Spectrum® program runs.

This article will outline how to change the Logging Level of your Server using the Server Web Page.

Supported/Affected Devices

  • DW Blackjack® Series

Modifying Logging Level

To change the Logging Level of a Server through the Web Client:

  1. To connect with the Server Web Page, you can either:
    • Open a web browser and enter the IP address and port number of the DW Spectrum® Server (e.g., https://localhost:7001 or https://<serveripaddress:port>) to connect with the web page.
    • In the DW Spectrum® Client, right-click on the Server, then select Open Web Client.

  • Log in with Administrator-level credentials.
  • Default ID:  admin
  • Default Password:  admin12345

  • Once you have logged in as an Administrator, modify the URL to navigate to the Advanced section of the web client.

For example:

http://demo.dwspectrum.com:7001/static/index.html#/advanced

  • After connecting with the Advanced section, locate the Log Settings section.

Change the Main Log level as instructed by your support representative.  In most cases, you will be asked to set the system to Debug.

Click Save to apply the changes.
