Special Instructions & Comments
- If there are multiple DW Spectrum Servers present in a merged DW Spectrum System, each Server machine will need to be individually updated. Instructions are below.
- After adding the plugin to the DW Spectrum Server(s), make sure that the plugin information displays correctly. You can confirm this using the DW Spectrum Client in the Server Settings > Plugins menu.
Upgrade Procedure
To upgrade the plugin on the server:
- Download the required plugin file (see links above).
- Stop the DW Spectrum Media service.
- Copy the plugin into the Media Server’s plugin folder.
- If there is an existing plugin file with an identical plugin name when upgrading the DW Spectrum plugin, replace the existing plugin file with the updated version.
- Please refer to the article “DW Spectrum – Adding Plugins to a Server” for detailed instructions on applying a plugin to the server.
- Close the plugin folder and start the DW Spectrum Media service again.
